Sandblasting is a deeper form of engraving done on glass, it's the technique we recommend for alcohol bottles, tempered glass, and colored glassware where a standard shallow etch wouldn't show up as clearly.
Once the design is sandblasted in, it can be left as a frosted white design or filled with metallic or flat color for extra dimension. Our "Antique Gold" fill is a customer favorite for anniversary and wedding pieces, giving the engraving a warm, finished look that a plain etch doesn't have on its own.
